Works well, fades fast – I was able to dye my eyelashes easily on the first try with no irritation. I just applied Aquaphor to protect my skin and carefully put it on my lashes like mascara. I kept my eyes open and was just careful not to smudge the dye. Looked nice afterwards and as I expected. Be careful, it really does stain skin. I got some on my fingers and it took 4 days to wash off. It lasted about 3 weeks for me before I noticed quite a bit of fading. I mix the brown and black color together because I find the black too harsh for my fair skin. The dye lasts a long time but I usually redye every 3 weeks which is when the color starts to fade. I leave it on for 10 minutes instead of the 8 minutes instructed because I think my lashes look more pronounced when I do that.

I read through the directions, meticulously applied the under eye pad as instructed, carefully applied dye only to lashes with my left eye closed. Unfortunately, with the pad right under the eye it is impossible to tightly close the eye and the dye got in. The burning was so unbearable I immediately removed it and had to ask my husband to help apply the dye later.

Amazing, just don’t get it in your eyes – This tint was fantastic! It works quickly too. I’d recommend using a small amount because a little goes a long way. I tried the eyes closed and brush on top method and regretted it immediately because I put too much, got it in my eye, and got the instant fire of 1000 suns. However, if instead of using the sponge thing, you use the applicator that looks like a mini mascara brush, and then comb it through with the mini comb, you can get it close to the base without getting it in your waterline. When you take it off, use a baby wipe with caution. My eyelashes look amazing! I can finally wear falsies without my blasted dirty blonde eyelashes looking so obvious. Oh, the little green eye packages aren’t in the instructions, but I think it’s vaseline. Highly recommend putting around your eye, it minimizes the risk of stain. I love this product and absolutely will use this again. P.s.-a little goes a long way way, so it should last through many uses. Love this!

The BEST – I’ve been dying my lashes for 35 years, and this is the best lash dye product I’ve found. By far!!!! I’m very excited. First, let me say: if you’re doing it yourself, I’d recommend separating the process into two stages: 1) top lashes; 2) bottom lashes. If you do both at once, you’re more likely to tear up and get dye in your eyes (with any product, not this one specifically). And I’d also recommend using cleansing wipes to carefully remove it, versus attempting to wash it off with water. Anyway, back to this product: 1) it comes with almost everything you need, and I actually found a couple of the tools to be HELPFUL (!). Normally, I end up tossing the “extras” that come in these kits. This one had ointment and under eye pads that were great, and the brushes and stirrer really seemed to help the product “grab” my fine lashes, but I think that was also due to 2) the wonderful consistency! This was the perfect amount of “wet,” which is a rare (impossible) find. Normally, dye is too wet (liquid) or too dry (flaky or creamy). If you’ve ever dyed your lashes, you know how difficult it can be to get the product to grab hold. This was actually ABSORBED into my lashes, w/o getting into my eyes! 3) the PUMP. OMG, for this reason alone this product deserves 5 stars! I normally have to throw dye out after the first use bc it oxidizes once it is exposed to air. This product solves that problem! It will last so much longer!!! I’d say the only minor “negative” would be that my eyes watered slightly when I first applied the product but that just shows it’s working, and I got zero product in my eye, despite the watering! I’ll say it again: the perfect consistency! And, finally, 4) my lashes are dyed WAY DARKER than I normally get them. And, despite initial watering, the perfect “grab” meant I could leave this product on for 30 minutes! Honestly, I could’ve left it on all day bc it was extremely comfortable after the initial “burn”.
