Super easy, super fun, then remove with scotch tape! – Glitter tattoos were being done at a kids party, and I thought it was so much fun that I’d get something… for myself. I wasn’t about to spend tons of money for super-fancy stuff that people use for raves, and the like; I just wanted something that would bring sunshine to my otherwise trying days at work.

Directions are tricky – You really have to follow the directions exactly if you want these to work and that’s not always easy to do with kids. I bought these for a birthday party and was trying to put them on 12 kids. You paint the glue on while the stencil is in place and are supposed to wait for it to become mostly transparent and then rams off the stencil. This can only happen if you apply the glue perfectly evenly which is hard. Then after taking the stencil off you wait longer until the glue becomes invisible before dabbing glitter into it. Well, it’s hard to apply to something you can’t see. And I found only the largest brush could really accomplish this well. Out of all the tattoos I did only a couple came out with crisp images that you could actually tell what they were. The kids loved them anyway. It’s possible I could get better with practice but I wasn’t entirely pleased with the outcome. Yet for all you get with the set it is a good deal

Not bright colors – As a glitter tattoo artist, balloon twister, and face painter, I fell for the cheap price and tried these out. If you want bright colors, do not use these. Some of the colors, like light yellow and pink are practically invisible. The glitter pots and brushes will also be smaller than you are expecting.

So much fun and long-lasting – These glitter tattoos are so easy to use. You just pick out your stencil it’s a sticker you stick on the skin. You then use the glue which comes with a nice little brush. You place the glue over the stencil. You remove the stencil, pick your glitter color. Finally, you use a glitter brush to apply the glitter. Then you use the biggest brush to brush off the excess glitter. These glitter tattoos are super cool and last several days.
