broken box but cute makeup – the box arrived broken, and the packaging could have been put together better, but i still love it. i was a teenager when this film came out, so for me it’s kind of a once in a lifetime buy. so far, i’ve only tried the ‘world is an imperfect place’ lipstick, and i can tell all of them will be brighter than the stick color, cuz that one is bright, and it’s typical of the brand. i think its very tacky that they used a quote from a mass school shooting – ‘i dont like mondays’ – but, its also the name of a popular song, so some might not mind. i had a small nick in one of the pallettes, but physician formula is a sloppy company with their overall packaging – i’m talking to you butter murumuru folding palette – so i am not surprised about this kit’s packaging being all jacked up. the product itself is good so i’m not going to have a cow. (i do, however, take issue that the film came out in 1985, but the date on the make- up says ‘1984’)

Nice collection but you don’t need it all – This is such a fun collection by physician’s formula. I love the breakfast club, it’s that nostalgic sort of love that makes collections like this possible. The “Physicians Formula The Breakfast Club Full Makeup Collection, Bronzers, Blushes, Highlighters, Mascara, 12-Pan Eyeshadow Palette, For Sensitive Skin”, is very fun and brings back the memories with the photos on the box. However, I don’t think getting the entire collection is something you must have unless you are a super fan of The breakfast club.

Huge, fun set with nice colors – This is a huge set! What fun! The box it comes in is awesome and bigger than I expected! It definitely could be giftable because the box is super awesome! Beware though, the corner of my box was a little smashed so I was bummed because it started to come apart and I really wanted to keep it to store the makeup in. My favorite item in this set is the eye shadow palette! I absolutely love the colors and they are so soft and nice to apply. They feel good on my eyes. There is very minimal dust/fall off. The colors are nice and vibrant and last all day, they even last through this Florida humidity! The eyeshadow palette is also in a nice, sturdy plastic case. My second favorite is the face palettes. However these are in more of a thick cardboard case. I do love the colors a lot, but both sets have the same colors. I really wish they would have included different colors for each face palette. The face palette cases are different scenes from the movie and that’s exciting, but the actual makeup in them is the same. The colors are my go to, to use though and just like the eyeshadow they are very soft and feel good on my skin. They last all day with no touch ups! The quality of the eye shadow and face palette sets are amazing! Things went downhill from here though, the mascara and lipsticks leave something to be desired. The lipsticks feel extremely cheap. The plastic tubes and lids feel worse than dollar store lipsticks. The colors are okay and don’t show up too well. They made my lips feel dry and I didn’t like wearing them. The mascara was also not my favorite. It was just okay and not something I use regularly. There are so many other mascaras that work way better. Overall, this is a super fun and visually appealing set! It definitely has pros and cons, but overall it’s worth it and could make a fabulous gift for someone!
