Perfect for a starter set – My 10 year old daughter loves this makeup set and was super excited to have her own makeup. I allow her to wear minimal makeup and this set is nice for someone just starting to experiment with makeup. The colors are subtle without being too heavy or dark. The mascara is a little clumpy but she’s able to apply it. She didn’t experience any eye irritations at all while using. The compact does have a little mirror on the inside and is made from a thick cardboard instead of plastic.
