Beautiful colors, perfect for a costume – I purchased this for the make-up part of my little ones Halloween costume. The colors are beautiful and the coverage when you first put it on is smooth and nice. But it does not last for hours like other brands. But it doesn’t mean I still wouldn’t use it again. Most importantly, it did not break out my child’s face since she’s very sensitive to certain make up.

Warm Neutrals -A great selection of flattering colors for “mature” eyes. – Great quality and a fantastic value! If you’re a “mature” aka older person, rest assured that the shimmer effect eyeshadows aren’t glittery- they are have an attractive opalized glow- which makes them very wearable. You’ll love the color selection, the shades are much prettier in person.

Brand new to makeup – As someone who is buying this as a neutral starter kit, I don’t know why I expected it to be bigger than it actually is. Mountain Dew can for scale because it was the closest thing around. I’m also very pleased that nothing broke during delivery. Super excited to try this out!!

Quality Primer+Palette is a dream for hooded/crepey eyes! – This shadow goes on really well with a good primer. Fallout is minimal, which is good because some colours go on a little sheer to begin with. I suggest a really good metallic shadow primer. That kind of primer is on the “stickier” side so helps the shadow to hold and build. It was long wearing and didn’t crease. That’s as much about the shadow primer as the eyeshadow itself, tho. It blends like a dream, and I found it easier to use than the Urban Decay Electric palette.

I noticed that if I use a eyeshadow primer that the shades are darker. I’m not sure why. I couldn’t find anything I don’t like. There is little or no excess dropping on to your cheekbones which can be a real nuisance.
