nice makeup kit – This is a terrific entry-level special effects makeup kit for Halloween or other costume makeup requirements. Aside from face paint colors, the other materials and tools for creating wounds/scars/blood make this an excellent kit for Halloween or any other time you want to create something in the horror theme. This kit includes everything you need to generate realistic scars, cuts, wounds, bruises, and other frightening makeup. It comes in a nice package with scar wax and a spatula tool for making scars and wounds, a cosmetics palette for making bruises, a little bottle of liquid, fake, blood, a small pot of coagulated, fake, blood, sponge makeup applicators, and q-tips.

Spend your money on something better – The fake blood product leaked inside the kit so it was everywhere and stuck to the other products. The colors given were a strange choice. I would think black and white would be standard but we got blue and purple. Overall the quality was not there.

Fun Kit – This is a pretty good entry level special effects makeup kit for Halloween or other costume style makeup needs. In addition to face paint colors, the additional materials and tools to create wounds/scars/blood make this a good kit for Halloween or any other time you are trying to create something in the horror genre. Fun kit! – I wanted to try to create a scar for a costume party I had to go to recently so ordered this kit. It arrived quickly and well packaged. I opened it and read the instructions and even found a video of someone demonstrating how they used this. I got to work creating the first layer of the scar and had a hard time smashing it onto my skin in a manner that it wasn’t just too stiff or heavy and falling off. After a LOT of playing around with this I realized the thinner I made this piece the better. I also realized gravity was a factor, so making this adhere under my chin or on my hand where it would not be supported was a lot harder than if it were on top of my shoulder where it could easily rest on something and not fall off. I feel like this is a good kit but advise taking your time to figure out how to use it days prior to actually having to.

It’s a bloody mess…in a good way. Great gore makeup kit. – This arrived early today, thankfully. Today is October 31, Halloween!!! My fault for not ordering this earlier, but it came just in time. After the review photos, the significant other gave me a glare, and took the kit away. She came back with a few bloody gashes, and two scars. haha. She did a pretty good job. She actually scared her friend’s daughter, who thought she was really hurt.
