Too thick for my taste. – I purchased this for make up. Halloween freckles to be exact. It was too thick to use for that purpose, but I did use it for thick eyeliner. I wouldn’t wear it daily. Not the greatest purchase.

Goes on smooth with vibrant colors – I was a Ben Nye snob until I tried this Mehron kit. This is so much better! It is creamier, goes on smooth and the colors are vibrant. It mixes well and stays on great with finishing spray. I bought two kits because of the fantastic price and now I’m a Mehron fan!

Great patriotic split cake! – I’m a completely recreational face painter who enjoys playing around with my kids. I’m not a pro and have no experience to speak to the quality of this for a professional. However, in my opinion this stuff is awesome!

I love Paradise split cakes (I have Fleur – I love Paradise split cakes (I have Fleur, flame, and the blue one), and was really looking forward to this one – my first not homemade rainbow cake! I was a little disappointed, however, that the yellow in my cake is not as prominent as shown, and was sort of mixed with the green. It showed better than I thought it would when painted, but still, more narrow than I would have liked or expected.

Buy from Mehron Directly – I just purchased this product off of Amazon a few days ago and when it arrived, it was cracked and quite dirty—as if it had been used. There was no tape or anything preventing it from being opened so it’s very likely that it had been. I’m fact, when I first got it, I thought the lid was dusty. But when I opened it, I realized the dust was on the top of the brick itself! Which means it had to be exposed to air for an extended period of time. I bought this from amazon so I didn’t have to pay for shipping from Mehron directly—pay for the shipping. I’m sure you’ll get a better quality product than this.
