Line smoothing – This product went great around my eyes, lips and on my forehead. I like it under my makeup but over my moisturizer. It does seem to create a shine at the end of the day, but my oil absorbent tissues helped with that

Amazingly controls my oily face! – L’Oreal Paris Magic Perfecting Base Face Primer, 0.5 FL (oz)- I learned about this primer from an article I receive on skincare via email. I read mixed reviews but after trying so many primers I decided to go for it. I’m very happy I did! I’ve purchased expensive & inexpensive primers. There was only one that consistently controlled my oil. I have a very oily face with noticeable pores on my nose. Thank Me Later Elizabeth Mott Primer I used for well over 1 year & then it just stopped controlling my oil. This L’Oreal Face Primer is a dream!! Yes, it’s a small jar- .5 ounce. This is the only downside. I’ll be purchasing it more often but I’ve found what works for my oily face! This goes perfectly with my normal skin regime which includes CeraVe Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Serum followed by elta MD skincare AM Therapy Moisturizer. These 2 products deeply moisturize my skin to begin my day. I then apply this primer. At first I applied too much which developed dryness & a white cast appearance. I’m glad I did this on a Saturday. I redid my face & applied a thinner layer of this primer. I realized by taking my time, a little bit truly goes a long way. I begin nose & apply to the side of my face & evenly across my forehead. Just a tad bit on my nose. You have to be careful if you have long nails. If you do I’d suggest taking it out of the jar with a Q-Tip & applying to your fingertip. At first I my long fingernail interfered with the process which caused me to waste product. •••This primer instantly blurs my pores & imperfections on my face. I was amazed! This makes my face feel very smooth! I let it set for a couple minutes. I do not use liquid foundation so I can’t speak on that piece. I use a powder foundation. My powder glides on smoothly. My facial resume begins around 7a.m. Typically at noon I would need to use oil blotting wipes. Well not anymore! This primer completely holds my oil & makeup in place all day long! I’ll look at my face at 7p.m. & it’s shocking to see NO OIL & my makeup completely as it was 12 hours earlier. I’ve never experienced such!! I began to blot my eyelids slightly which held my eye shadow in place. I’ll further share my the inside of my ears would be oily by noon, not anymore as I will put just a tiny bit inside where it can be seen. No oil! I don’t know what else to share other than from a learning curve this has become my favorite part of my skin regime because I know exactly what it will do for my face all day long. Oh, I’ll add I use Tula glow+get cooling & brightening eye balm under my eyes. This primer keeps the eye balm from blurring. By noon usually this would wear off & become very noticeable that I applied it. Again with just a touch of this L’Oreal primer I no longer have this problem. The cost for the small jar is well worth what I paid & I don’t mind if I have to buy it more frequently because this saves my face for a 12 hour period. Writing this still is shocking to me but my words are 100% true. The fact that my oil is controlled amazes me the most. I was not compensated in anyway by writing this review. This is my personal experience with this product. I’d say this is definitely something worth trying. For something under $10 you wouldn’t lose much if it doesn’t work.
