Great entertainment for kids! – These were perfect for my girls over Thanksgiving weekend! Instead of being underfoot in our rather small house, the girls spent hours playing dress-up and play-acting while the adults were able to visit without interruption! The gems were perfect for them because they don’t wear make-up and, until they played too hard, the gems stayed attached very well. I really haven’t ever seen adults wear something like this unless it’s for Halloween or some other costume type gathering but I’m not sure how they would get them to stick to skin heavily made up. We loved the fact that they did glow in the dark, which added to the fun when the sun went down. There are 8 sets of gems in this package, and I learned quickly to limit the sets I gave the girls or they would have used them all at one time! Since they’ve gone home, I have found several gems throughout the playroom that either fell off after hard use or were taken off and not returned to the original packing, so I’ve tried to put them away for another time. At this point, they are not sticking to the plastic, but the instructions say you can use eyelash or body glue to reuse them. For the price point, I’d just rather buy more for the next time the kids come up!

For That Little Extra Sparkle – These are pretty painless to apply, though they can pull on hair on removal. They glow decently and have good adhesion on clear skin, though I think if the wearer was going to be physically active they might sweat off.

Fun Statement Face Gems – These gems are big and bold! They stand out and make a statement even when peeking through my dark brown hair. I have oily skin and so I made sure to fully clean my face and blot any oil with a tissue before applying the gem. That seemed to work well, but then it lost sticking power when removed and re-applied, so I would definitely advise to use body glue/eyelash glue as recommended on the package for multiple applications and/or longer-term wear. The glow in the dark effect is really cool once the gems have been charged in sunlight or bright electric lights, and make these gems a fantastic addition to any event with a darker setting (or with black lights).
