It doesn’t cake in the wrinkles! – I’ve been trying to find something like this for a while. It sounded good, but I checked the reviews. They were very helpful. I ordered a nice make-up brush to apply it because the sponge applier didn’t seem like it didn’t allow for light layers. I found it works well to apply light layers until It covers the uneven stuff that shows up as we get older (I’m 72) to the degree they aren’t obvious. I took about 4 layers, but my wrinkles and skin tone needed quite a bit of help! I definitely recommend this product.

This is the powder for me – I usually get Buff Beige in this pressed powder but they were out of stock. I have light skin so I decided to try out the Classic Ivory. I don’t wear primer, foundation, concealer…any of that. My makeup ritual, when I wear any at all, consists of powder, mascara, chapstick and a tiny bit of eyeliner. Once in a while I will wear a small amount of eye shadow but it’s usually a neutral color and something I don’t do often. I want a powder I can wear alone. This has always worked well for me. Obviously this color is a bit lighter than what I usually get but it worked just as well. I don’t have to use much and it makes my skin look softer and smoother while giving it a nice glow. It doesn’t looked caked or unnatural and it really does help with fine line blurring. I never use the sponges that come with it, preferring a powder brush instead. I workout 5-6 days a week and usually do it right after work. I don’t always wash my face first. This doesn’t leave my skin feeling heavy or clogged afterwards. I don’t carry my makeup (or lack thereof) around with me so I also want something that doesn’t leave my face looking shiny and luckily I don’t get that with this one. It arrived well packaged and there was no cracks or crumbling. Covergirl Simply Ageless has become *the* pressed powder for me and I love that I have two colors choices in case one is out. If you prefer something light that provides blurring and looks natural, this is it.
