Love the top – I don’t think the pads are reusable. The picture with my makeup removed shows that this pad could not be washed. Maybe it was a mistake in advertising, or they packaged the wrong pads.

Fan of the Smart Pump – This makeup remover is clear with a light antiseptic scent. Works very well to remove my makeup. I’m really a big fan of the smart pump dispenser… I place a cotton pad over the top and press down in the center twice to dispense the amount I need to remove most of my makeup. If I have more, such as stubborn eyeliner, then I repeat the process with a clean cotton pad. The cotton pads included aren’t my favorite, they are soft but seem to fall apart and I prefer the ones with a textured side for cleansing. Directions state to rinse skin after using. I just take a clean cotton pad that either has water on it or moisturizing serum and do a quick swipe to remove any residue from the Clear Xpressions remover.

Gentle cleanser – I have a few lip and eye colors that my usual makeup remover just doesn’t erase, so when I ran across this, I thought I would try it. I like the push pump applicator, and that it came with cotton pads. Once I got the pump primed, it worked really well. I did need to push it down 3-4 times for the amount that I needed. It is really gentle on the skin, and removed all the stubborn makeup very well. I feel safe using it near my eyes, because it is really gentle. When I got everything removed, it felt like I had a thin film on my face, so I did rinse with water, and it was gone. Generally I will use my face soap at this point anyway, so it doesn’t bother me at all, and doesn’t feel like I am adding another step. I feel safe letting my daughter use this product as well, it leaves you with a really clean base and is very gentle around the eyes.

Takes off everything except my waterproof mascara – I actually like this product. Normally, I’m a big fan of micelar water for makeup removal, so I figured I’d try this one. It has a slight fragrance to it, but I don’t mind it. It does a fine job of removing my foundation and eyeshadow, but it doesn’t get my waterproof mascara off. Regular mascara is no problem and comes right off. I want to love the smart pump, but mine squirts through the cotton pads and shoots out from under it when pushed. Not sure what to do about that, but otherwise, I think the product is great! Other reviewers don’t seem to have that issue, so maybe I just got a bad pump. Still worth trying if you use makeup remover.

Imported from France – According to the packaging, this product comes from France. This gave me high hopes as, besides Korea, a lot of good skincare/cosmetics come from France. This is a very effective product. The pump is very useful and makes things convenient. It even comes with some cotton pads so you can try it right away. The product itself works as intended. It removes makeup well. My girlfriend uses it and has no complaints. No skin irritation or anything of the sort. It is very gently but has a slight antiseptic scent, which is fine. The only downside that is not mentioned is that the product does require some rinsing afterwards.
