Learn how to use it first before using. – I really liked it I am a beginner and so far I did a good job I bought this to do some fx for Halloween.

Difficult to put on – I wish I found out early on that using gloves might have made the applying process easier. I found that it kept sticking to my fingers so it took longer than I’d hope but overall it looked realistic. I added blue and black eyeshadow around the area to make it look more bruised. I basically scooped the wax out of the jar and rolled it into the shape of a worm and flattened it onto my face shaping it more how I wanted the scar to look. Use the flat part of the beauty blender for the flattening onto your skin, again it will stick to your hands if u don’t have gloves. Then I used the silver utensil it came with to carve a line into the wax once it dried, the wax drying takes about 5 minutes. With a deep enough wound carved out I then applied the fake blood and dabbed it with the sponge it also came with. The sponge is not necessary by the way unless u prefer the dried up blood look. The blood dries almost instantly! I wanted it to drip and look wet so I kept applying more of the blood to the wound. I was happy with how it turned out. I can’t wait to try other looks with this product.
