Value for the money – This will last forever! I wanted specific colors for my kids’ Halloween costumes so I didn’t want to buy a set that had a bunch of colors we wouldn’t need. This was a great solution. The only negative is that you’re supposed to use it within 18 months and I don’t think that’s going to happen. Maybe I’ll start using it on my husband.

Great face paint! – I used this for my halloween costume with a bit of primer for my eyelids and this stuff stayed in place ALL nigth. No smudging, flaking or creasing. Excellent stuff and washed off with just water and soap!

Things I don’t know – The thing I know is that this was a fine make-up for my purposes. It was the right color, it stayed on as indicated, easy to wash off, but stayed on while I needed it on. There is a lot of make-up here for the one-time-per-year use it will get, and on the package I read that it expires in 18 months. Other water-based powder theatre make-up I have had has lasted for …ahem… decades! Does it turn poisonous and/or toxic after 18 months? What changes after 18 months? These are the things I don’t know. But, my experience with the application and removal, the color and my expectations being met were all positive.

Not the Best Face Paint – I bought this face paint for a school event. If you are wanting quick, easy to use paint, this is not for you. In order to use the product, you need to use water. The paint seems to absorb the water quickly, but the paint dries up almost immediately. The kids had no problem getting it off, but it took a while to use due to the difficulty of keeping the paint pigmented and appliable. Not a purchase I’ll be making again.
