Be careful when opening product. – I just received my Boom trio and upon opening, the “color” stick was broken in half. Honestly not sure if it happened during shipping or when opening? I’ve stuck it back together and will use as is. LOVE the moisturizer, color is good and still deciding on the glimmer.

Not as great as I hoped – I’m regularly using only the blush. I like it on my lips when I want a little color since I hate lipstick, and a little on my cheeks for blush. Occasionally I highlight my eyes with the glimmer. I tried the glo but don’t see the point of it. It makes my glacé sticky. I use a moisturizer with sunscreen so the glo was a waste of money.

I made the leap! – I’ve been fascinated with the ads regarding BOOM! Frankly, the price of their products are a bit off putting. That being said, I couldn’t resist buying Colorstick during a sales promotion. I am so happy I did! Not only is this lip color perfect for my fair skin, blue eyes and silver hair, it lasts for hours and hours. I love the way the first application fades in such an attractive way. Some models seem to like putting something “shiny” on the top but I like it just the way it comes from the applicator. This lip color will work for you, too!

Quick and easy for errands – I love that I can spend a minute doing casual-style make-up for a natural look with a little glow. Literally, less than a minute to put a couple short swipes over the top of the balls of my cheeks, a dab on each eye lid, rub in my cheeks and use what’s on my fingers on the sides of my forehead and my jaw line, then rub across my eye lids. Add it as lipstick over the moisturizer and I’m out the door to pick up our son from school, run errands, go the to beach, etc. If I have to stop by my office, I add some light foundation first for a more professional yet still casual look. If they included something to help it stay put on lips, I’d give it five stars.
